Nurse Manager

Assists in examination and treatment of patients by using a team based model under the direction of Physician or Nurse Practitioner.  Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts and maintains patient confidentiality.  High School diploma or equivalent, One to two years related experience in medical office and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certification in CPR and OSHA training.  Certification as a nursing assistant or medical assistant is required.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Cherokee Health Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and talented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals including four established behavioral professionals to provide complete psycho-pharmacotherapy to a clients daily in and outpatient clinical setting.  No on-call, no inpatient work, and holidays off! Masters Degree in Nursing with special emphasis on psychiatric nursing. Registered Nurse with minimum of two years psychiatric clinical experience in, in-patient or outpatient facility or Mental Health Center. Or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ANCC certificate in order to prescribe.

Case Manager
Instructs individuals and families in the community about health education and disease prevention utilizing a team based model. Educates the community on various medical outreach programs and the importance of utilizing the programs. Visits homes to determine patient and family needs, develops plan to meet needs.  Assists patient in setting up a medical appointment and ensuring the patient keeps appointment.  Requires: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in psychology, social work, or related field; 1-2 years of previous experience in linking consumers with various community resources preferred; should have knowledge of Work Processing software, Electronic Medical Records software and Spreadsheet design software.
