Office Manager
Manages an integrated Medical office in a fiscally responsible manner that maximizes patient care, and promotes patient and staff satisfaction while utilizing a team based model. Bachelor's Degree/ four-year college degree or commensurate experience in medical office management preferred. Prior management experience in an outpatient healthcare setting a must.

Patient Service Representative
Provides support with the daily activities of a medical office in order to provide the best in patient care. This will include filing, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, etc. Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast pace environment is a must. High School Diploma or equivalent required, one year certificate from college or technical training program for medical office procedures preferred; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• West Knoxville (full-time, 40 hours per week)

Bilingual Access Coordinator
Utilizes professional customer service skills to evaluate patient healthcare needs at locations closest to the patient. Schedules patient appointments and provide reminders of first time appointments. Enters initial demographics, insurance information, and emergency contact information into Information System Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year certificate from college or technical training program for medical office procedures preferred; experience in outpatient healthcare clinic preferred.  Must be fluent in both English and Spanish languages.

Outreach Care Coordinator
Ensure the overall success of physician’s treatment by collaboratively working with patients, physicians, and practice teams to provide the best care possible as described in the treatment plan. REQUIRED: Active LPN license with State of Tennessee License with minimum of three to five years practical experience, preferably in a primary care outpatient setting. Past management/supervisory experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred.

Educate and coordinate scheduling preventive care services for primary care patients while working in an outpatient integrated medical setting. Counsels primary care patients on compliance with treatment plan and establishing self-monitor goals. REQUIRED: RN with 5 or more years experienced, prefer outpatient clinic experience, home health, and or medical case management experience.

BEHAVIORAL:

Clinical and Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship
Cherokee Health Systems invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for its APPIC-member Clinical and Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship training program. The Child and Adolescent Psychology track is a combined placement providing psychological services in an outpatient community health clinic and consulting with the child welfare system. Fellows conduct clinical case reviews, assessment, psychological testing, and care coordination with child welfare; provide education and consultation to trainees and other community providers; and evaluate mental and emotional disorders and administer programs of treatment in a traditional mental health care model. The Integrated Health Psychology track trains fellows within a primary care setting to address the behavioral and psychosocial aspects of health. Fellows serve as Behavioral Health Consultants (BHC) on the primary care team, and as such, provide assessment, intervention, and consultation to the primary care patient panel. Completion of an APA accredited internship and an APA accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical/Counseling Psychology program is required. Behavioral Health Consultant
Provide behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults and families in order to improve psychosocial functioning. Provides comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients. Actively participate in meetings that support Cherokee’s integrated health care model to provide comprehensive care for clients. Required: PhD in Clinical Psychology with active license in the state of TN as a Clinical Psychologist

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Cherokee Health Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and talented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals including four established behavioral professionals to provide complete psycho-pharmacotherapy to a clients daily in and outpatient clinical setting. No on-call, no inpatient work, and holidays off! Masters Degree in Nursing with special emphasis on psychiatric nursing. Registered Nurse with minimum of two years psychiatric clinical experience in, in-patient or outpatient facility or Mental Health Center. Or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ANCC certificate in order to prescribe.

Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Diagnoses or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals, couples and families and administers programs of treatment. Required: Master' s degree in Social Work or related field of study; LCSW preferred.

Case Manager
Assist individuals in accessing needed mental health, medical, social, and educational services, as well as coordinating care; provides outreach services and works with a team to address psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations; develops and implements, in conjunction with clinical staff, a desired treatment plan; helps to coordinate care with other health care providers and monitor stability. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field; 1-2 years prior experience a plus. Skills needed: Effective engagement and time management skills, strong accountability and teamwork a must!
