Patient Services Representative
Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast pace environment is a must. REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED, one year certificate from college or technical training program for medical office procedures preferred; or 3-6 months related medical experience; Bilingual candidates preferred.

Medical Scribe
Performs all clerical and information technology functions for a provider in an integrated clinical setting. Primary responsibility for the operation of electronic health records and electronic dictation systems. Primary goal is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician. Outreach Care Coordinator
Ensures the overall success of physician's treatment by collaboratively working with patients, physicians, and practice teams to provide the best care possible as described in the treatment plan. The majority of the job will consist of clinical data management using the computer, outreach to patients and healthcare facilities, and direct contact with patients. Reviews and assesses patient data, including outpatient treatments, inpatient treatments, emergency room visits, medications, medical benefits from Electronic Medical Records (EMR), chart reviews, or other information, to assist in the monitoring and facilitation of adherence to prescribed care plans. REQUIRED: LPN with minimum of three to five years practical experience, preferably in a primary care outpatient setting. Active LPN license with State of Tennessee License.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Cherokee Health Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and talented Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals including four established behavioral professionals to provide complete psycho-pharmacotherapy to a clients daily in and outpatient clinical setting. No on-call, no inpatient work, and holidays off! Masters Degree in Nursing with special emphasis on psychiatric nursing. Registered Nurse with minimum of two years psychiatric clinical experience in, in-patient or outpatient facility or Mental Health Center. Or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ANCC certificate in order to prescribe.

Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Diagnoses or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals, couples and families and administers programs of treatment. Provides clinical services for referred patients in school and/or clinic settings; Offers consultation to area schools and agencies; Responds to school crises as necessary. Provides clinical services and consultation to children/adolescents and families, primarily in a school-based setting; Part of multi-disciplinary team; Attends scheduled staff meetings; Responds to school crises as necessary. REQUIRED: Master' s degree in Social Work or related field of study; LCSW preferred.

Case Manager
Instructs individuals and families in the community about health education and disease prevention; Helps to coordinate care with other health care providers, monitors stability and independent living: REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in psychology, social work, or related field; 1-2 years of previous experience in linking consumers with various community resources preferred.

Registered Nurse
Provides general nursing care to patients in the residential crisis stabilization unit. Diploma in Nursing or greater degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with inpatient care. One or two years related psychiatric and/or mental health experience preferred. Must be eligible for certification or willing to be certified in crisis intervention.

Nurse Manager
Provides clinical support and related administration and coordination duties for Crisis Stabilization Unit programs. REQUIRED: Must have active license as Registered Nurse in the state of TN. Must have 3-5 years nursing experience. Supervisory experience a must; inpatient experience preferred.

Mobile Crisis Clinician
Conducts evaluations of patients for crisis and treatment. Patient evaluations occur in community settings (i.e., emergency rooms, jails, nursing homes, and/or other healthcare offices). Clinicians evaluate patients for the appropriate level of care, hospitalization or outpatient care. REQUIRED Master Degree in Psychology or Social Work. LPC, LMSW, or LMSW in the State of Tennessee.
•Morristown - full-time (40 hours per week); Nights and Weekends coverage. 

Psych Tech
Provides Crisis Stabilization Unit residents with adequate support and supervision during their stay in the facility as well as specific day-to-day functions in the CSU under direct supervision of the Behavioral/Primary Care staff. Observes and documents patient behavior. REQUIRED High School diploma or GED is required, 2 years of experience in inpatient care preferred; CPR certification preferred but will train qualified applicants; Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Clinical and Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship

Cherokee Health Systems invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for its APPIC-member Clinical and Health Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship training program. The Child and Adolescent Psychology track is a combined placement providing psychological services in an outpatient community health clinic and consulting with the child welfare system. Fellows conduct clinical case reviews, assessment, psychological testing, and care coordination with child welfare; provide education and consultation to trainees and other community providers; and evaluate mental and emotional disorders and administer programs of treatment in a traditional mental health care model. The Integrated Health Psychology track trains fellows within a primary care setting to address the behavioral and psychosocial aspects of health. Fellows serve as Behavioral Health Consultants (BHC) on the primary care team, and as such, provide assessment, intervention, and consultation to the primary care patient panel. The Developmental Psychology track is focused on assessment, intervention, and parent/teacher training in autism and related disabilities. Fellows serve on the Autism Treatment Team, carry a case load of new referrals, conduct and interpret comprehensive evaluations, and schedule ongoing intervention sessions with children and families.


Completion of an APA accredited internship is required. For the Child and Adolescent and Integrated Health tracks, completion of an APA accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical/Counseling Psychology program is required; for the Developmental track, completion of an APA accredited PhD or PsyD in School or Development Psychology is required.
