Mobile Crisis Clinician (Morristown)


As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you’ll be working with a team of professionals — including first responders, healthcare providers, and other agencies — to stabilize a psychiatric crisis situation, avoid hospitalization and/or incarceration, and initiate immediate community-based treatment. This is a fast paced, dynamic position that requires flexibility, multi-tasking, and strong crisis management skills. Full-time (40 hours; will consider part-time hours)


·         Provide telephone triage for psychiatric crisis calls

·         Provide assessments and interventions in homes and other community locations

·         Short-term therapy, case management, and referral to appropriate services


·         Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline. 

·         Prior experience in a mental health treatment environment preferred.

·         Availability for night, weekend, and non-traditional hours required. Options for flexible hours.

·         A valid driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance

Certificates and Licenses: Master's Degree in Social Work or related field of study. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Professional Counselor (LPC) in State of Tennessee.
