Cherokee Health Systems to Host an Open Enrollment for Affordable Healthcare Event

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- Cherokee Health Systems’ (CHS) Enrollment Team is kicking off Open Enrollment for 2023 by hosting an event to encourage health insurance enrollment within the community. Open Enrollment officially starts on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. During this period, people can enroll in a health insurance plan or make changes to their current plan. CHS’ Open Enrollment for Affordable Healthcare event will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at CHS’ Center City Health Center. At the public event, CHS staff will be available to sign people up on the spot for an affordable health insurance plan.

“Health insurance makes services more accessible and reduces medical costs. Our team understands that enrolling in a health insurance plan can be overwhelming for some people. That’s we are here to help people navigate this process and find an insurance plan that will protect their family,” said Katya Macias, CHS’ director of enrollment.

Walk-ins will be accepted at the event. Attendees are not required to bring anything with them to the event. Our insurance navigators ask that attendees come knowing their social security number, how many people are in their family and their annual household income. Please call 866-672-1979 with any questions you may have about this event.
