Cherokee Health Systems is both a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC), so we know the opportunities and challenges that face both the primary care and mental health sectors.  For nearly forty years, we have been known across the country as being one of the nation’s leading best-practice programs in the integration of behavioral health and primary care services.  Our behavioral-enhanced patient-centered medical home practice serves over 70,000 people every year and produces efficient, positive, and effective outcomes. 

Held approximately six times per year in Knoxville, Tennessee, our Training Academies provide a detailed explanation of Cherokee’s integrated care model, as well as the opportunity to hear from our providers as they present real-life case studies.  Your practice can gain valuable insight to the steps of implementation, learn about financing and sustainability models, and be informed about collaborations between partners, and so much more!
